Referrals

Polaris Project's National Contacts Referral Database currently contains more than 3,000 unique contacts for anti-trafficking practitioners and organizations in the field.

The database contains referrals from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, many of the U.S. territories, and more than 60 foreign countries, including Canada and Mexico. It is a confidential online directory of service providers, law enforcement, government officials, task forces, coalitions, and individuals and collaborative initiatives working to combat human trafficking across the country.  Its purpose is to make the national hotline as effective as possible in referring callers to the most appropriate on-the-ground resource. The database also contains organizations that focus on several issues related to human trafficking, such as domestic violence, sexual assault, runaway and homeless youth, immigration, and refugee resettlement.

If you are interested in receiving referrals, please contact the hotline 1-888-373-7888 or text BeFree (233733) or click here for a list of select referrals in your state.  Please note, that this list is not exhaustive.

To submit a request to have your organization added to the NHTRC database, please contact the NHTRC hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text BeFree (233733).
