National Advocacy Fellowship

Position Description:

Working alongside the National Grassroots Coordinator, the National Advocacy Fellow will have the opportunity to work directly with community members to engage them in the anti-trafficking movement and gain an understanding of how to develop and implement local and national public awareness campaigns and other grassroots efforts.  The scope of the National Advocacy Fellow’s work includes:  brainstorming creative and innovative ways to involve students and community members in the anti-trafficking movement, creating informational and promotional materials for Polaris Project’s grassroots efforts, developing content for the Polaris Project Action Center website, increasing web traffic to Polaris Project’s websites, cultivating partnerships and collaborations with businesses and anti-trafficking efforts, maintaining contacts in the grassroots database, recruiting members for and communicating with Polaris Project’s Grassroots Network, and developing strategies to build and strengthen Polaris Project’s grassroots program.
