On Sunday, March 16th, 2008, Polaris Project was featured in Nicholas Kristof's op-ed article in the NYTimes entitled "The Pimps' Slaves." In the article, Kristof asserts that "If the Spitzer affair causes us to lose sight of the broader reality of prostitution, then the biggest loser will be the girls for whom selling sex isn't a choice but a nightmare."
