| Ms. Meyer began her employment with Polaris Project as a Resource Call Specialist in August of 2008. Prior to joining Polaris Project, Ms. Meyer spent 3 years teaching ESL to high school and elementary school students and representatives of international businesses in the Czech Republic and Ecuador. While living in Ecuador, Ms. Meyer worked with the Casa de Maria Amor domestic violence shelter to coordinate a volunteer childcare program with the language school and to facilitate and administer relationship violence awareness workshops for area high school students. Before moving abroad, she served victims of sexual assault as a Victim Advocate with the Sexual Assault Center of Prince George’s County, Maryland. Ms. Meyer is proficient in Spanish and has a BS in Psychology and Masters of Public Policy, with a concentration in Social Policy from the University of Maryland. |
