Position Description:

The Executive Assistant Fellowship is a 6-12 month unpaid position in which the fellow has the opportunity to work alongside Polaris Project and a member of the Executive Team. Two positions are currently open, one working with the incoming Executive Director, Ambassador Mark Lagon, and one position working with the Deputy Director, Bradley Myles.  The Executive Assistant will work directly the Executive Team members, providing advanced administrative support and being exposed to the management and leadership processes. Some of the tasks that the Executive Assistant fellow will perform include arranging travel, managing all incoming calls and inquiries and providing appropriate follow up, coordinating schedules and meetings, as well as performing other related duties as assigned.

  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional administrative capability to manage a large number of projects and tasks concurrently, with minimal supervision
