For many years, the pimp had forced Kimberly into the sex industry. Kimberly had made a previous attempt to leave her situation, but her pimp had located her, physically abused her, and forcibly moved her to another state. Polaris Project staff connected Kimberly with a law enforcement officer within 15 minutes. The Call Specialist then remained on the line with Kimberly until the officer arrived at her location and she was safely removed.
