| Johanna Olivas | Program Associate |
| Johanna Olivas graduated from the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington D.C. where she majored in Political Science and specialized in Race, Gender, and Politics. She was awarded the Frederick Douglass Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. Ms. Olivas regularly volunteers with our Client Services Department working directly with our clients in the job-training program. Prior to joining as Polaris' Program Associate for Public Outreach and Communications she worked in the Operations Department. Ms. Olivas was also the Operations and Organizational Development fellow in the summer of 2007. Preceding Polaris Project she interned for the Family Justice Center in Brooklyn, New York, which provides services to victims of Domestic Violence. |
