Development Fellowship

Position Description:

Polaris Project is seeking Development Fellows to support Polaris Project's fundraising initiatives. The development team works in partnership with management, board members and volunteers to raise funds for all programs, in a manner that aligns with the mission and values of Polaris Project. The Development Fellows will engage in cultivating relationships with individual current and prospective donors, reaching out to local businesses, corporations and community members as potential partners, researching and writing grant proposals and Letters of Intent (LOI), maintaining records of donations in the development database (eTapestry) and performing regular database updates, acknowledging gifts, planning special events, and developing strategies to stimulate and guide Polaris Project's growth as an organization.
