Audrey Roofeh | Program Specialist and Trainer

Ms. Roofeh joined Polaris Project’s National Human Trafficking Resource Center in September 2011.  Ms. Roofeh is the regional point of contact for the South, where she coordinates referral and reporting contacts for the NHTRC hotline.  Ms. Roofeh develops professional resource materials for use by the NHTRC and the anti-trafficking field.  Ms. Roofeh has conducted trainings on human trafficking for law enforcement, service providers and community members.

Prior to joining Polaris Project in June 2011 as the National Training and Technical Assistance fellow, Ms. Roofeh was the Senior Court Attorney to the Honorable Shari R. Michels in New York City Criminal Court, where her work included coordinating trainings for attorneys, judges and court personnel on issues related to sex trafficking.  Ms. Roofeh was previously an associate at the law firm of Schlam, Stone & Dolan LLP in New York.  Ms. Roofeh received her bachelor of arts degree from Barnard College and her juris doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
