Ms. Solorio has been a member of the Polaris Project team for three years and is currently a Case Manager in the New Jersey office. She provides comprehensive services to survivors of human trafficking. These services include: crisis intervention, emotional support, accompaniment and safety planning. In addition, she provides referrals for medical and legal services; housing, education, and employment assistance programs. Ms. Solorio also conducts trainings for law enforcement and social service providers. She has a Master’s Degree in International Affairs with a focus in Governance and Rights from The New School University in New York City.
Prior to joining Polaris Project New Jersey, while working towards her undergraduate degree in Criminology and minor in French, Ms. Solorio worked in the private sector. She has studied in France and Hong Kong. Ms. Solorio is fluent in Spanish and at a conversational level in French.
