Ms. Trease joined Polaris Project in August of 2008 as a Development Officer. Within the Development Department she works on securing foundation and government grant support for Polaris Project’s programs. Her background includes two years of work on combating sex trafficking with the Second Chance Program in Ohio. At Second Chance she worked directly with child victims of sex trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation, as well as conducted community and statewide advocacy. Ms. Trease holds a Masters degree in social work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors in social work from the University of Toledo.
